Meso's Crispy Southern Fried Green Tomatoes w/ Remoulade

Remoulade Sauce

    Directions

    Choose nice fresh green tomatoes. Wash and slice tomatoes (making slices approx. ½ inch thick). Dredge tomatoes from liquid (milk & egg) mixture to dry mixture beginning with liquid mixture. Heat oil in pan on medium high heat. When hot, carefully ease dredged tomatoes into hot oil. Fry for approximately 10 minutes then turn and continue until golden brown or the doneness of your choice.

    Step 1

    Remoulade Sauce Mix all ingredients together well. Taste as you mix to get a taste that you like. Use as dip for green tomatoes.
