    Step 1

    Take corned beef out of package. Season with pepper and mustard. Rub it into roast. Additionally, add all other seasonings. Massage meat for a few minutes. Then place in hot pan & oil. Fry and brown on all sides of the roast. Place carrots, and onions in dutch oven then place browned roast on top of carrots and let cook at 300 degrees for 6 hours. For a roast of a different size (cook 90 minutes per pound at 300 degrees) Make the cabbage. Use same pan that roast was browned in (keep oil and drippings). Add more oil and fry potatoes. Add onions if you like. finally add cut up cabbage. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring all the while. Serve and enjoy!
