    Holding on to old, historical food traditions is very important to me. Some of the vintage recipes are un-healthy, or maybe time consuming and hard to make but they are all worth holding on to. We need to know and pass down to our children, grand children, great grands ..... etc. the old stories, hardships and travails that our ancestors faced to allow us to be where we are today. Pig tails to my surprise was a remarkable dish that I thought I would never make let alone enjoy But it has it's place! It is really quite delicious. These are called Southern Pig Tails Modernized from RootieTooties, Pork Booties and Cork Screw Twisters

    Step 1

    Wash and soak tails in vinegar water for about 20 minutes. Rinse, and pre-heat slow cooker with water.
