Meso's Sweet Tart Mango Cobbler
Directions
Peel and slice mangos into a large bowl. Add all other ingredients except flour and milk. Mix peaches and other ingredients together well. In another bowl mix the flour and milk. Whisk well until there are NO LUMPS to be seen. Pour over mango mixture and gently stir. Arrange pie crusts into buttered/greased baking dish (press together leaving no holes or gaps). Pour in mango mixture then cover with strips of dough from another pie crust (you could make your own but a pre-made crust is much easier and just about as good). Lay down dough strips horizontally then vertically. Sprinkle top with allspice then brush with egg mixture (1whole egg and 1 tbsp. water well beaten). Place in pre-heated 3500 oven and bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until crusts are golden and juice is thick and bubbly. Please place on cookie sheet lined with foil because it is apt to bubble over. Enjoy!
